What stays on your device?

Imported footage, previews, project autosaves, recovery snapshots, personal presets, code execution, and export processing stay in your browser. Fiivo does not upload source media to a rendering server.

Downloaded .fivo files store editing data and code, not the original media. Keep your source files and relink them when reopening elsewhere.

What should I expect?

Fiivo is alpha software. Save recovery snapshots and download project files during important work.
The tested export profile is 1080p at 15, 24, or 30 fps. Projects over 2 minutes and 60 fps exports are available with warnings because they have received less testing.
Preview performance depends on your device, media codecs, layer count, and custom code complexity.
Mobile editing is in alpha; project saving remains available when video export is unsupported.
